This paper proposes fuzzy logic controller based a single-phase nine-level inverter for grid-connected photovoltaic systems, with a novel pulse width-modulation (PWM) control scheme. Four reference signals produces from fuzzy logic controller which are identical to each other are going to compare with the amplitude of the triangular carrier signal. The inverter is capable of producing ofnbsp nine levels of output-voltage levels (Vdc , 3Vdc /4, Vdc /2,Vdc/4, 0, minusVdc , minus3Vdc/4, minusVdc/2Vdc/4) nbspfrom the dc supply voltage.
