With innovation and entrepreneurship said to be the saving grace for Australia’s economic future,there is a pressing need to unravel the complexities of entrepreneurial ecosystems as a conducive context for cultivating new businesses initiatives. This paper reports on the deconstruction and analysis of the entrepreneurial ecosystem concept, as undertaken in a symposium by a group of international scholars interested in advancing this pre-paradigmatic perspective.
