A book in Greek culture in Commonwealth in XVI–XIX centuries Reconnaissance

The aim of this article is gathering and signalization of information related to the theme of book among Greeks living in Commonwealth. The activity of Greeks in Ostrog Academy and Lviv Fraternity were presented based on literature and archival materials. The orthodox church libraries and private collections of representatives of the Greek nation were discussed as well.Celem artykułu jest zebranie i zasygnalizowanie dotychczasowych informacji na temat książki wśród Greków zamieszkujących Rzeczpospolitą. Na podstawie literatury przedmiotu oraz materiałów archiwalnych przedstawiono działalność Greków w szkole ostrogskiej, Bractwie lwowskim, biblioteki cerkiewne oraz prywatne księgozbiory przedstawicieli nacji greckiej
