This article dwells upon the issue of selection of appropriate pedagogical approaches in order to create positive eLearning experience for students with special needs in the inclusive education environment, which conforms to the students’ needs and guarantees maximum curiosity and engagement. The article is based on the results of the recent research in the area of application of eLearning for schoolchildren with special needs. It explores effective approaches and knowledge management tools that provide active participation and immersion of students in eLearning process, and as a result – the formation of new life competences
