International audienceIn this paper, we investigate the retrieval of the modes of multicomponent signals from their downsampledshort-time Fourier transform. To this end, we first recall signal reconstruction techniques basedon shifted downsampled short-time Fourier transform, and then explain how to adapt these to the contextof the retrieval of the modes of a multicomponent signal. We then show, on simulated and real data,that downsampling the short-time Fourier transform does not result in a significant performance lossof the mode retrieval procedures.
