Positioning of genotypes, plant growth and seeds yield of maize.

The present work involved three experiments between the years 2016 and 2017 and aimed to characterize the phenological performance of different genotypes of open pollinated maize, to evaluate the yield of genotypes and hybrids, as well as, the growth of plants and the expression of seed vigor under the influence of different doses of nitrogen fertilization applied at sowing. For this, maize genotypes from the municipality of Ametista do Sul - RS and hybrid materials used by farmers were used. The experiment of Chapter I was conducted in the municipality of Entre-Ijuís - RS, phonologically characterizing six different maize genotypes. The experiment of Chapter II was carried out in Pelotas and Entre-Ijuís-RS, being evaluated the yield of different genotypes and maize hybrids. However, the experiment of Chapter III was conducted in a randomized complete block design, with four adduction doses (25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the nitrogen dose recommended for the crop), and the growth analysis throughout the development cycle. In Experiment I, the genotype Amarelo Pequeno presented the highest cycle of 130.45 days, while the Amarelo genotype showed a higher precocity, with a total cycle of 121.25 days. In experiment II it was observed that among the genotypes tested in the Pelotas region the highest yield was of Amarelo while the material Coodetec 1 presented higher yield among the hybrids, however for the region of Entre-Ijuís the highest yields for genotypes and hybrids were Observed in the materials Amarelo and Coodetec 2, with average productivity of 7391.5 and 9533.75 kg ha-1. In the experiment III, it was observed that the growth and the assimilated partition were altered by the different nitrogen rates at the sowing to which the plants were submitted, where the highest total dry matter yield and dry matter production rate was obtained in the treatment of 75% of the recommended dose for culture. The net assimilation rate presented the best results with 50% of the recommended nitrogen dose at 21 days after sowing.O presente trabalho envolvendo três experimentos entre os anos de 2016 e 2017, teve por objetivos caracterizar o desempenho fenológico de diferentes genótipos de milho de polinização aberta, avaliar o rendimento de genótipos e de híbridos, assim como o crescimento de plantas e a expressão do vigor de sementes sob influência de diferentes doses de adubação nitrogenada aplicada na semeadura. Enquanto que, o experimento do Capítulo III foi conduzido em delineamento experimental de blocos casualizados, com quatro doses de adubação (25%, 50%, 75% e 100% da dose de nitrogênio recomendada para a cultura), sendo realizado a análise de crescimento ao longo do ciclo de desenvolvimento. No Experimento I, o genótipo Amarelo Pequeno apresentou maior ciclo, de 130,45 dias, enquanto o genótipo Amarelo apresentou maior precocidade, com um ciclo total de 121,25 dias. Para o experimento II observou-se que dentre os genótipos testados na região de Pelotas o maior rendimento foi do Amarelo, enquanto o material Coodetec 1 apresentou maior rendimento entre os híbridos, todavia, para a região de Entre-Ijuís os maiores rendimentos para genótipos e híbridos foram observados nos materiais Amarelo e Coodetec 2, com produtividade média de 7391,5 e 9533,75 kg ha-1, respectivamente. No experimento III observou-se que o crescimento e a partição de assimilados foram alterados pelas diferentes doses de nitrogênio na semeadura as quais as plantas foram submetidas, onde a maior produção de matéria seca total e taxa de produção de matéria seca foi obtida no tratamento de 75% da dose recomendada para a cultura. A taxa assimilatória líquida apresentou os melhores resultados com 50% da dose de nitrogênio recomendada aos 21 dias após a semeadura
