Exhaustion of fossil fuels and increase of energy demand, lead to growing interest in the development of renewable energies and energy efficient systems. Nevertheless, the gap between the supply and the demand of energy by renewable energies makes necessary the using a storage system. Among various thermals energy storage technologies, the composites formed by a porous matrix and a hygroscopic salt, allow to benefit advantage of both the adsorption/desorption capacities of the matrix and the chemical reactions of salt.
