International audienceThis article deals with the territorial constructions emerging from the religious revival within the Jewish diaspora, and the resulting evolution of identity. In particular, we study the development of orthodox movements in the north-east districts of Paris. The regrouping of orthodox Jews observed is not a resurgence of traditional ghettos, nor does it resemble the Hassidic districts in the United States.
