The purpose of this research note is to examine the use of Six Sigma approach in Kenyan organizations in order to develop agenda for future studies. The main purpose for the existence of any business entity is profit maximization. It is thus imperative that an organization designs its systems and processes to ensure that as it seeks to fulfill its mandate, as few mistakes as possible are committed. One of the tools used by many organizations in ensuring this happens is the Six Sigma approach. It is thus important to understand the key features, obstacles, and shortcomings of the Six Sigma method to ensure that any given organization is better able to support its strategic directions.
