This research aims to improve the cognitive development of student group A in Kindergarten Pertiwi Munggung at 2017/2018 academic year through mind mapping method with images media. Subjects in this research were group A students in Kindergarten Pertiwi Munggung. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which have done in four cycles with five meetings. The research procedure in each cycle there are several stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using observation, interview, documentation, and field notes. Data validity uses triangulation method by searching data from various data sources. Based on the result of research conducted in cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III, showed improvement of cognitive development of student group A in Kindergarten Pertiwi Munggung. This can be seen from before the implementation of cycle obtained by the result of the student reached 39,70%, Cycle I of 55,88%, Cycle II of 72,79%, and the third cycle of 83,64%. The conclusion of this research result is throughmind mapping methods with image media can improve cognitive development of student group A in Kindergarten Pertiwi Munggung at 2017/2018 academic year.
