Kohesi Dan Koherensi Dalam Rubrik Mimbar Mahasiswa Pada Surat Kabar Solopos

This research have two purpose. First to describe the form of cohesion in the discourse rubric in platform student in Solopos newspaper March 2018 edition. Second to describe the form of coherence in the discourse rubric in platform student in Solopos newspaper March 2018 edition. This research use qualitative research. Data of this research is the form of words or sentence that contains the form of cohesion or coherence. The source of the data in this research taken from the discourse rubric student in the Solopos newspaper March 2018 edition. A collection of data in this research using analysis and study book. Analysis data using appostion method. Validity of the data taken by analysis data continues, discusion data with the friends, and consultation with the master of linguistic. The result of this research is cohesion gramatical 126 data consist of 48 reference data, 7 substitution data, 11 ellipsis data, 60 conjunction data. Lexical cohesion 47 data consist of 28 repetition data, 4 synonymy data, 8 antonymy data, 1 hyponimi data, 1 collocation data, 5 equivalence data. Coherence marked 37 data consist of 10 coherence causality data, 12 coherence contras data, 2 coherence additive data, chronological coherence 7 data, temporal coherence 5 data. Coherence unmarked 12 data that consist of perian coherence 3 data and details coherence 9 data. Keywords: coherence, cohesion, newspaper, discourse
