Analisis Potensi Obyek Wisata yang Dikelola oleh Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Sragen Jawa Tengah

The research of thesis location is in Sragen regency, taking four tourist objects such as Sangiran Archaeological Museum, Bayanan Hot Water, Kartika Swimming Pool and Kemukus Mountain. The problems that arise is the development of tourism has not been evenly distributed due to several factors that are not adequate, the factor is one facility, facilities and infrastructure both internal and external. This study aims to (1) analyze the internal, external and combined potentials of each tourism object, and (2) to know the tourism development strategy in Sragen regency to make the superior tourism object based on its potential and according to the Tourism Office. The method used in this research is field observation using observation sheet and reinforced by in-depth interview. The analytical method used is scoring analysis to determine the internal and external potentials and then combined to know the combined classification, and swot analysis to know the tourism development strategy. Result of research indicate that tourism object with internal potency with high class category is at tourism object of Sangiran Archaeological Museum and external potency shows low grade category found at tourism object of Kemukus Mountain, and potency combined with high class category at Sangiran Archaeological Museum and low grade category on Mount Kemukus. Based on the potential of internal, external and combined attractions in Sragen Regency has a varied potential level. Strategy of tourism development in Sragen regency, among others, to improve and add complementary and supporting facilities in the location of tourism objects, to hold back the promotion so that tourism objects are better known by the public through mass media and developing potential tourism objects that have been included in the National and International tourism
