Hyperlipidemia is a condition of the body when blood lipid levels rise beyond the normal limit. Avocado seed is one part of the plant that can be used to lower levels of fat in the blood. The purpose of this study was to measure the decrease of cholesterol and triglyceride levels by giving Avocado seed extract for 14 days with 3 different doses. This study used 12 male wistar strain rats which were divided into 3 dose groups namely, 62,5, 125, 250 mg / kgBW. Each group was given high-fat feed induction for 55 days and then given the treatment of extract for 14 days with fixed given high fat diet.
