ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the effect of job training and compensation on the performance of employees of Fire Department of Surakarta City. This research uses primary data. Sample in this research as many as 51 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling or random sampling. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test and multiple linear regression analysis with first classical assumption test which includes normality test, multicolinearity test, and heterokedastisity test.
