Purpose Recently 4-hour delayed-enhanced three-dimensional fluid-attenuated inversion recovery magnetic resonance imaging (3D-FLAIR MRI) has been used in pathophysiologic analysis of the inner ear in many auditory diseases. It has been reported that 4-hour delayed-enhanced 3D-FLAIR MRI is also useful for showing not only perilymphatic space but also inner ear enhancement.
