A simulation program is developed to analyze the heat transfer characteristics of multi-pass fin-tube evaporator that considers pressure drop inside a capillary-tube. The annular flow model, which is the most proper for two phase flow under the operation condition of evaporator, is applied for describing the pressure drop of capillary-tube. The length effect of capillary-tube with different air mal-distributions are described.
