This paper presents topology optimization problem for the load-path development of the automotive engine room structure considering the static stiffness and crash performances. Topology optimization method considering crash load cases generally contained the single load case of the barrier contact. However, the complex behavior of crash analysis is difficult to describe with the single load case. In this paper, we employed the multiple replacement load cases to represent different events within crash analysis. The positions and magnitudes of the applied forces were determined based on the crash behavior and the force history of the crash analysis results of the reference model.
