On occurring fire of high-rise building, smoke vent window may not operate effectively depending onstructural characteristics of buildings and outdoor air conditions, as noted in some literature. Therefore, in this studyit reviewed the exhaust effect of ventilation system considering outdoor air conditions. Also, reviewed the influencerelated to the temperature changes inside compartments of ventilation system with the effective area of smoke ventwindow and the exhaust capacity of ventilator as variables.
