Measuring Managerial Efficiency of Korean Construction Firms using Data Envelopment Analysis-Tier and Cluster Analysis

This study aims to study the efficiency of corporate governance structure of domestic construction companies using data envelopment analysis-tier and cluster analysis. The authors analyzed thirty five construction firms whose main business are in architectural and civil construction. We selected these companies based on their construction capacity rank of 2012 and the availability of credible financial statement. So, analysis of this study was conducted in two steps. First step, we conducted an analysis of efficiency of companies using data envelopment analysis-tier. Second step, we classified companies in same corporate governance structure using cluster analysis.
