Preventing such deterioration, Glass Fiber Reinforcement Polymer(GFRP) rebars are used in place of steel reinforcements. The lower bond stress of GFRP rebar which compared to steel rebar affects the development length and spliced length. In order to evaluate the lap spliced length of concrete beam reinforced with lap-spliced GFRP bar according to reinforcement ratio, nonlinear finite element analyses(FEM) are performed.
