The aim. To evaluate cardiovascular and respiratory systems functional parameters and physical capacity relationships for patients after open heart surgery in the second stage of rehabilitation. Methodology. Subjects was divided into two groups. For the experimental group of patients was applied rehabilitation and respiratory muscle training, and for a control group of patients was applied just rehabilitation. Examination was carried out before and after the rehabilitation. Functional status determination was made by the following tests: blood pressure, heart rate, chest excursion measurements, respiratory rate elatuation and by making Henco and Stange samples, 6-minute walk test.
