Abstract— The study evaluated the environmental services of the Bicentennial Metropolitan Park, through nondestructive sampling; infiltration of water in soil, interior and exterior temperature and humidity, interior and exterior acoustic pressure and estimation of carbon stores. The results were that soil compaction and depth of the herbaceous stratum determined different capacities to regulate water runoff. In areas without trees the temperature increased and the humidity decreased. The acoustic levels exceed the limits allowed for health and total carbon store was 517,958 MgC.
