Azodicarboxylates and Diazoacetates as Reactants of the ferriophosphaalkene [CP*(CO)(2)FeP=C(Ph)NMe2]

The diazoacetates N-2=CHCO2R (8a:=tBu: 8b:Et) and 1 gave rise to the formation of the N-metallated 1,2,3-diazaphospholes [Cp*(CO)(2)FeN (11a, b). Compounds 3, 11a anti 11b were characterized by means of elemental analyses and spectroscopy (IR, H-1, C-13 {H-1}. The molecular structure of 11a was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis
