本文以香港「兼職女友」網絡事件作為個案,探究網絡仇視女性文化的網絡獨特性。作者指出,去中心、遊樂場或狂歡式的混搭網絡傳播已在此起事件,產生了兩個新的存有個體(beings),分別是「(男性)嫖客」及「(女性)性工作者」,並以真實生活及身體進入互聯網,進行體現式表達。但是,性工作者始終是一個被揭露、注視、嘲弄及被貶抑的對象,她的自述被認為不該得到別人傾聽。相反,男性嫖客則不斷被催促「爆料」及論述下去。網民透過不雅粗鄙的言辭獲取論述快感,構成「正常人」的網絡社群,訴諸仇恨言說,排擠異類女性聲音。 This paper explores the uniqueness of networked misogyny using the case of Hong Kong’s part-time girlfriends. The author identifies two new beings emerging from decentered, playful, and carnivalesque online communication.
