Manufacturing of tubes by rolling

Thesis is focused on the analysis of various rolling methods used for production of seamless tubes. It is a literary study, which describes both methods for the production hollow thick-walled cylindrical billets, as well as methods for their processing into finished tubes. Comparison between them and practical use is also described. In the thesis are analysed the methods of production of hollow semifinished products by push rolling and cross rolling, e.g. Mannesmann and Stiefel methods. For the seamless tubes finishing various rolling methods are described, such as pilger mill, mandrel mill, plug mill, Assel mill, Diescher mill or pushing mill
