The topic of my bachelor´s thesis is focused on the system and fiction in labor rehabilitation camps in the Soviet Union based on Solzhenitsyn´s work. The work is also focused on fate and work the writer. The work is separated into five chapters. The first one deals with the history of involuntary labor in Russia. The second contains the history of the early camps, its expansion as well as important historical milestones of Gulag. The third chapter describes the detailed functioning of the system of camps, such as detention, transport, living and working in the camps. The fourth chapter introduces the writer and journalist Alaxandr Isajevitch Solzhenitsyn, his literary and journalistic work. The thesis also includes the chapter Gulag today....
