Salesian Youth Centre - Children and Youth Centre České Budějovice. Activities and current issues.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the Salesian Youth Centre - Children and Youth Centre České Budějovice, on the offered activities and current issues. In the theoretical part I describe the style of Salesian education and the performance of this institution. Further on, I am selected successful projects implemented by the Centre. In the practical part I deal finding the actual problems of the Centre in the form of qualitative research using structured interviews with open questions. The research was conducted with six respondents the employees of the Centre. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the activities of the Centre and find out what problems currently facing the Centre and suggest some optimization recommendations. To meet these objectives have been established two research questions. The first research question seeks to determine which problems in the Centre's activities involved experts considered the most serious. The second research question focuses on solving current problems, propose respondents. The research results are grouped into tables. Based on the investigation it was found that the most serious problems involved experts of the Centre considered primarily a shortage of staff and volunteers, as well as lack of funds, especially for social service. Based on these issues, respondents suggested some solutions, in the form of finding additional financial resources, increase the number of staff and volunteers and better PR of the Centre
