Serbian in confrontation with Czech

This diploma thesis deals with the comparison between Serbian and Czech in fields of phonetics, morphology and syntax. The theoretic part is concentrated on the characteristic of Slavonic languages. The practical part deals with the analysis of literary work in Serbian and its translation in Czech where similarities and differences in phonetics, morphology, syntax and lexicology are examined. The aim of this diploma thesis is a specification of the main differences between these two languages on the basis of their comparison
