Abstract The cemetery of Olmo di Nogara (Verona), a closed field with regard to the chronological phases of the society of the Terramare in western Veneto, conserves a high number of subadults, that is almost unique in Europe in the Middle and Recent Bronze Ages. Previously undervalued, the archaeotanathological analyses of the photographical documentations of the excavation have made it possible to highlight the importance attached to subadults, independently of their age, the chronological periods and the presence or otherwise of grave-goods.
