Community in Motion is an initiative that promotes the use of physical activity as a primary means of disease prevention. More specifically this is a collaborative program designed to help residents better utilize the network of resources that already exist in their communities. This presentation will highlight strategies I've used to engage the private sector and develop partnerships that advance health. Emphasis will be placed on those tactics that serve to strengthen the means for implementation. The intended audience is community wellness stakeholders looking for ways to take their concepts from paper to practice.
