The University Archives has determined that this item is of continuing value to OSU's history.Gen. John D. Altenburg, former Appointing Authority for Military Commissions, now a principal with the Washington, D.C., law office of Greenberg Traurig, was responsible for reviewing charges and evidence against people detained by the United States in Afghanistan and held at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base.
