The thesis breaks down the main aspects of the immigration debate, which are: fiscal and economic effects, effects on crime, eduation, society, politics, and illegal immigration. Then, it analyzes the effects that Chinese immigrants are having in each area to determine whether they are a boon or a burden to the United States. I find that there are many benefits from Chinese immigration to the American economy and education system. However, there are negative consequences of Chinese immigration in terms of criminal activity and illegal immigration. Overall, I found that the impact of Chinese immigration is positive.No embarg
