Thirty-nine samples (three of which were unproductive) from three different sections of the Pinery Limestone member of the Bell Canyon Formation (Upper Guadalupian in age) from the Guadalupe Mountains National Park and D-Ranch lands yielded more than 2,900 conodont elements, which are assigned to nine species and one subspecies of five genera. Six new species and one new subspecies are established from this material. Distribution of these species indicates that there were three different contemporaneous conodont faunal assemblages whose distribution was probably controlled by water depth and differences in salinity.No embarg
