The Tycer Pottery Company manufactured earthenware cooking and dinner ware in the former pottery of F. S. Lowry (1868-1916) at Roseville, Ohio, from ca. 1921 to 1957. The firm was perhaps best known for its "Japaneeso" cookware, patented in 1929, its "Neu-Deel Cookin-Ware," patented in 1933, and its later barbecue ware featuring a longhorn motif. In retirement Tycer returned to his Amite, Louisiana, home, where he died in 1968
