The University Archives has determined that this item is of continuing value to OSU's history.The First Regional Observing Study of the Troposphere (FROST) is an intensive data collection and analysis program designed to investigate the performance of forecast models poleward of 50 degrees S latitude during three one-month periods: July, 1994; 15 October to 14 November, 1994; and January, 1995. The United States scientific community plans active involvement in all phases of FROST starting with a vigorous effort to compile a comprehensive set of atmospheric data and analyses for the FROST study area.
