Fred and Mary Benoit are photographed during an oral history interview at their home in Vancouver, Washington on September 7, 2017. The Benoits were interviewed by Linfield College Archives staff Stephanie Hofmann. Fred and Mary Benoit founded Chateau Benoit in 1979 when they bought 60 acres near McMinnville, Oregon. In 1999 the winery was sold to Robert Pamplin, Jr., and in 2004 the name was changed to Anne Amie Vineyards.
