Both JMU and EMU classes came to observe the streamwater project in fall of 2015 and study it in class. Both JMU and EMU student volunteers were part of the 46 volunteers who helped plant riparian plantings (536 trees, shrubs, and seedlings) to stabilize streambanks from Sycamore Flat to the pond giving 168 hours to this project
