Background: Common antimicrobial regimens for treating bacterial vaginosis often cause recurrence and bacterial resistance. Previous studies have reported that a combination of antimicrobial and probiotic consisting of Lactobacillus spp. Is an effective treatment for recurrent bacterial vaginosis.
