Peningkatan Motivasi Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuanalam dengan Menggunakan Metode Eksperimen

The purpose of this research was to describe the improving learning motivation on science by using experiment method to the grade four student at SD Negeri 08 Pontianak Barat. This research used descriptive method. The assessment of this classroom action research was collaborative, which subject of the research were teacher and students at the grade four at SD Negeri 08 Pontianak Barat. Data collecting were the score of teacher's ability in planning, acting, and doing recapitulation of the extrinsic improvement of students' motivation. Tool of data collecting were observation sheet and written test. The result of this study were as follows. The average score of teacher's ability in planning in Cycle I was 2,29. The average score improved become 3,39 in Cycle 2. The score improved 1,10 point. The average score of teacher's ability in acting was 2,38 in Cycle I. Meanwhile, the average score was 3,88 in Cycle II. The score improved 1,50 point. Students' extrinsic motivation was also improved. It could be seen from the recapitulation of extrinsic improvement of students' motivation from Cycle I to Cycle II. The score was 46,69% in Cycle I and 93,33% in Cycle II. It improved 43,64%, from the data in Cycle I and Cycle II, we can conclude that the application of experiment method on science could improve students' learning motivation to the grade four at SD Negeri 08 Pontianak Barat
