Abstract

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\u2019s (CDC) Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) routinely monitors youth health behaviors and experiences; collaborates with education agencies to implement primary prevention of HIV, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and teen pregnancy; and conducts research to evaluate innovative prevention strategies. CDC\u2019s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report Surveillance Summary on the 2017 National Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS)1 provides the most recent surveillance data on health behaviors and experiences among high school students across the country.
