The aim: To determine the relation of ankle – brachial index (ABI), mean platelet volume (MPV) and white blood cell (WBC) count to permanent atrial fibrillation (AF). The objectives: 1. To compare MPV between patients with and without permanent AF and to determine its relation to CHA2DS2-VASc score. 2. To determine the relation of ABI and MPV to permanent AF. 3. To compare WBC count between patients with and without permanent AF. 4. To compare MPV between patients with and without peripheral artery disease (PAD). 5.
