Purpose: examine characteristics and outcomes of preterm newborns who were treated for patent ductus arteriosus. Tasks: 1. Find out prevalance of hemodynamically significant PDA among preterm newborns at Hospital of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Kaunas Clinics. 2. Characterize newborns who were recognized with hemodynamically significant PDA. 3. Evaluate efficiency of hemodynamically significant PDA medication treatment NSAIDs (indometacin, ibuprofen). 4. Evaluate necessity of hemodynamically significant PDA surgical treatment. 5. Evaluate outcomes of preterm newborns who were diagnosed and treated for hemodynamically significant PDA.
