Objective. To findout attitudes of parents of 4-6 grades students towards the public health care specialist work at school. The research was conducted in October – November of the year 2017. Parents of X region Pro-gymnasiums students participated in a survey. Overall, parents of 421 students answered to the survey questionnaire. Majority of parents (87.9 %) have indicated the need for the public health care specialist at school. More than a half (53.9 %) knows the main purpose of the public health care specialist, however, only 17.3 5 of respondents know the functions of public health care specialist very well.
