Creation of technology of semi-solid cosmetic preparation with UV protection, quality and stability evaluation

Aim of research: to design a semi solid cosmetic sunscreen preparation and evaluate the quality of the product. Objectives of research: 1) To collect and organize scientific literature on: UV radiation, its harm to humans, materials used as UV filters, their evaluation methods, semi solid skin preparations technological peculiarities and quality assessment methods; 2) To rate the effect of plant preparations on the value of SPF; 3) To design a formulation and to prepare a semi solid cosmetic preparation with UV protection by using necessary technological procedures; 4) To evaluate the quality of the prepared semi solid cosmetic preparation with UV protection by estimating its SPF value, pH value, evaluating texture and stability. Research methods: the semi solid preparation with UV protection was prepared by using mixer; the quality was evaluated by centrifugation, determining the pH value, microstructure, color, odor and texture. The stability analysis was conducted by keeping the samples at a temperature of 25 ± 2°C and by evaluating their quality after one week, 1, 5 and 10 months. The obtained results were statistically processed using Microsoft® Office Excel 2010 software. The averages of the results were provided with the average standard deviation; the differences among averages are reliable if p
