Ant colony optimization (ACO) takes inspiration from the foraging behavior of real ant species. This ACO exploits a similar mechanism for solving optimization problems 0for the various engineering field of study especially load balancing. In distributed systems, load balancing is one of the central problems that have to be solved in parallel and Grid computation. This paper tries to show some kinds of load balancing techniques for massive computing. This paper reviews the different load balancing methods includes hardware and software and compares them. Furthermore, it explains their advantages and a disadvantage, showing which method is more adaptive and flexible
