Cooperative intelligent transport systems allow vehicles to communicate with each other as well as with the infrastructure in order to ensure the availability of information more reliably on vehicles, their positions and road conditions. This exchange of relevant information improves road safety, reduces traffic incidents and ensures efficient mobility of vehicles.
