Visión social sobre la enfermera especialista en salud mental

Treball Final de Grau en Infermeria. Codi: IN1138. Curs acadèmic. 2017/2018I ntroduction: Nursing has evolved constantly in all its a reas , although these advances occur slowly. Nursing specialties are a key point for th e development of the profession. H owever, the current situation regarding the specialties has blurred the boundari es and there is no coherence between what is regulated and the assistance reality. Objective: I nvestigate the vision that the managers, users, health workers, professional unions, nursing lectures and professional colleges have built o n the figure of the E .E.S.M. in the province of Castellón. Method: An explanatory - interpretative study was cho sen from a qualitative approach. S even participants who belong to different social groups were chosen . A semi - st ructured interview was used as the tool for collecting information. During the project, ethical aspects of the Declaration of Helsinki and the Organic Law 15/1999 (Personal Data Protection) were fulfilled. Results: The 6 emerging categories were: E . E . S . M . opinion, E . E . S . M . role, mental health user opinion, d ifficulties and positive elements in mental health user assistance, barriers for mental health nursing advance and emerging issues. At the same time, 17 subcategories were detected. Conclusions: E . E . S . M . is essential to develop quality care to wards the men tal health population due to their specific knowledge in the matter. Therefore, differentiation in specialist jobs is necessary.Introducción: E nfermería ha evolucionado en todos sus ámbitos, aunque estos avances se suceden de forma lenta . Las especialidades de enfermería son un punto clave para el desarrollo profesional. Sin emb argo, su situación actual no está bien definida, y no existe coherencia entre lo que se regula y la realidad asistencial y profesional. Objetivo : I ndagar sobre la visión que los gestores, usuarios y usuarias , profesionales sanitarios , sindicatos profesion ales , profesores de enfermería y colegios profesionales, han construido sobre la figura de la E.E.S.M. en la provincia de Castellón. Método: Se optó por un estudio explicativo - interpretativo des de un abordaje cualitativo. Se seleccionaron siete participan tes pertenecientes a diferentes colectivos sociales. Se utilizó la entrevista semiestructurada como herramienta de recogida de información. Durante el proyecto se cumplieron los aspectos éticos recogidos en la Declaración de Helsinki y la Ley Orgánica 15/1 999 de Protección de Datos Personales. Resultados: La s 6 categorías emergentes fueron: opinión sobre la E . E . S . M . , papel de la E . E . S . M . , opinión usuarios/as de salud mental, dificultades y elementos positivos en la atención a usuarios de salud mental, barre ras para el avance de la enfermería de salud mental y temas emergentes. A su vez, también se detectaron 17 subcategorías . Conclusiones: La E . E . S . M . es fundamental para desarrollar cuidados de calidad hacia la población con enfermedad mental por su s conocim ientos específicos en la materia, por lo que se hace necesario que haya una diferenciación en lo s puestos de trabajo existentes de especialista
