This research aims to analyze The effect of Capital Expenditure, Balance Fund Performance Toward the Local Government Financial Performance (Regency/ City in Central Java Period 2010-2012)..the factors examined in this research are capital expenditures and balance fund as the independent variables while the local government financial performance as the dependent variable..The method used is multiple regression analysis with a significance level of 0.05. The final sample of the study consisted of 103 the total number of district and city located in Central Java province in 2010-2012 , using purposive sampling method..Data used in the research is a secondary one. Simultaneous hypothesis testing results shows that all three independent variables significantly affect the dependent variable , which is the financial performance of local government. While the partial result of the research shows only the balancefund that has a significant effect on the financial performance of local government
