This study aimed to determine the effect simultaneously on liquidity ratios, profitability, activity, and solvency of the Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) in each stage of the lifecycle of the company. IOS in this studyis proxied by market to book value of assets. Financial ratios used in this study is proxied by Current Ratio, Return on Assets, Total Asset Turnover, Debt to Equity ratio. This study involved 12 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange took 5 years of research from the year 2007-2011. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression models. In accordance with the method of classifying life cycle companies with sales growth according to the calculation method of Gup and Agrawal. From the research,the importance of the two stages ofthe life cycle in the period 2007-2011, namely automotive company expansion and the beginning of the end of the expansion. In the early stages of expansion of financial ratios do not significantly affect the IOS for significance above 0,100 Fatthe 0.05 significance criterion. At the last expansion stage financial ratios have a significant influence on iOS with a significance value of 0.000F>0.05.
