PENGARUH TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN DAN FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT TERHADAP KETIMPANGAN DISTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN DI INDONESIA

This research aims to determine the influence of variables educational level, foreign direct investment and income distribution in Indonesia. The research was done by considering the average value of the old school, the share of FDI to GDP and the level of inequality of income distribution in Indonesia, which is calculated using the index williamson. In particular the period 2007-2010 with a method of ex post facto. The type of data used are time series and cross section with the secondary data published by BPS. Processing data using Eviews 6.0 program, SPSS 19.0 and Microsoft Excel 2007. The research concludes that the income distribution in the period 2007 - 2010 are relatively moderate, amounting to 0354. The level of education as measured by the average length of the school only to Indonesia in year 8 or in other words the average length of the school population of Indonesia was not until second grade junior high. And the amount realized FDI into Indonesia between the years 2007 - 2010 is around Rp 4 trillion and 86% based on Java. Based on the regression, the variable level of education have a positive and significant at 8 = 5%, and the negative effect of investment variables significant at 8 = 5% of the income distribution. F value count at 285.33 with a probability smaller than 8 = 5%, so it is concluded that the two variables and FDI levels simultaneously affect income distribution in Indonesia. R2 value of 0.9901 indicates that 99.01% income distribution in Indonesia can be explained both independent variables.
